Bebe Blessings

Hello Friends,
Time just seems to be escaping me at the moment. I have just bought my very own home! So exciting and cannot wait to move in and get set up for another fun chapter in my life. I have 930 sq ft of unfinished basement in my lovely 1929 home just begging to be made into a fabulous craft room. So you can imagine I will be a tad busy for awhile. Best of all I will be near my family and my granddaughters.......yes the new baby will also be a girl. I cannot wait!
I have also have two nieces having little one's, so we have babies everywhere. So I whipped up a little Baby dress made of fabric and cut with my imagine, also found a pattern for these darling little shoes that can be used as a party favor filled with candy or nuts.
The cut of the dress is from the Imagine Nursery Tales cartridge. I used heat and bond on the fabric which allows it to be cut on the machine. Cutting to pieces and fusing them together after adding lace and sewing a special stitch to the fabric. Topped it off with some white seam binding for ribbons and a flower. The antique hanger is purchased from craftysecrets.com

Are these adorable or what? I got this pattern from searching the web and do not remember where so I apologize. I fused organza material onto paper for a fabric look. Fun to make and endless possibilities.
My New Home!
As always, Thanks for stopping by and have an Awesome Day!

Blessings, Therese

  1. Oh! Iam so excited about your project, but first must congratulate you on your new home! I know you will make it just perfect with your wonderful style! Oh, to have a basement that size to turn into a craft room!

Well, back to that wonderful dress. I have never been successful at cutting fabric on the Cricut, so you have inspired me to try again with this project!! So beautiful! And those baby shoes!!!! Now I will be searching the web for those! Those are precious! You are going to have so many compliments on your projects at the shower!

    Just beautiful, as usual!
